NEW YORK: Mazda confirms that its smallest car new Mazda2 2016 won’t be sold in the United States, after all. However, Americain customers who really want the car would be able to buy a Scion iA Sedan, which is a Mazda2 Sedan, the first car born from the new Toyota-Mazda partnership.
Considering that, in the US, you can buy a brand-new Mazda3 for 18 000$, the company probably realized that the Mazda2 would have ended up stealing their own sales.
At the moment, nothing is indicating that the Mazda2 won’t be sold in Quebec.
