Customs Sialkot collects Rs 24.05m revenue in September

SIALKOT: The Model Customs of Collectorate (MCC) Sialkot has collected Rs 24.05 million during September 2015 under the heads of customs duty, sales tax, federal excise duty and withholding tax.

Official sources said that authorities are striving hard to surpass the assigned target by the end of current fiscal year, adding that department was tightening its noose around the tax evaders to recover the outstanding dues.

The customs duty collection by MCC Sialkot has surged Rs 24.05 million in September 2015 as compared to the collection of Rs 27.08 million in same period of fiscal year 2014.  Source told Customs Today that MCC Sialkot aims to excel by performing brilliantly through achieving the set goals of the Federal Board of Revenue and even a step ahead.
