Media Markt sells Samsung Galaxy Alpha Smartphone for EUR 349, runs on Android 4.4 OS & has 12 megapixel camera

BERLIN: German electronics retailer Media Markt is selling the Samsung Galaxy Alpha Smartphone for EUR 349.

The device features an aluminium rim around the 4.7-inch screen with 720×1280 pixels, an octa-core processor with four cores of 1.8 GHz or 1.3 GHz and 2 GB main memory. It supports LTE at up to 300 Mbps as well as HSPA+ at up to 42.2 Mbps. The Smartphone runs on the Android 4.4 operating system and has a 12 megapixel camera.
