MEXICO CITY: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States, Madam Claudia Ruiz Massieu arrived in Havana on Monday. The Chancellor said that “Today, there are more Mexican entrepreneurs and investors who are interested in doing business with Cuba and take advantage of opportunities created by this process.”
Meanwhile, the Cuban Foreign Ministry, on its website states that Ruiz Massieu “will hold official talks with Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, and develop other activities.”
“Cuba occupies a special place in the foreign policy of Mexico and in the hearts of Mexicans. The shared history, geographical proximity, common language and deep cultural affinities are some of the deep reasons that bind our societies dearly,” said Mexican Foreign Minister.
