Netherlands ranked 3rd in Netflix speed index

AMSTERDAM: The Netherlands moved up to third place in the countries ranked on broadband speed by Netflix in March. The country achieved an average speed of 3.86 Mbps, just below Luxembourg (4.02 Mbps) and Switzerland (3.98 Mbps).

The top providers in the Netherlands scored above the national average, with Caiway at 4.11 Mbps, Ziggo at 4.08 Mpbs, ZeelandNet at 3.93 Mbps and UPC with 3.89 Mbps. The cable operators were followed by XS4ALL at 3.81 Mbps, KPN with 3.70 Mbps, Online with 3.53 Mbps and Tele2 at 3.42 Mbps.
