NEW DELHI: Audi will introduce 2015 Audi Q3 facelift in the Indian market today. The new Q3 facelift has received noticeable updates on both inside and out, besides few additional features. Though, the engine mechanism remains unchanged.

Power for the 2016 Q3 facelift comes from a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TDI diesel engine that comes mated to a 7-speed S-tronic transmission. It’s the same engine that powers the existing model. This powertrain is capable to develop a maximum power of 177bhp at 4, 200rpm and 380Nm of torque between 1, 750rpm – 2, 500rpm. Similar to the current model, Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drivetrain system comes as a standard feature.

On the exterior, the Q3 facelift features Audi’s signature 3D effect single-frame grille, daytime running lights with slightly different design, revised LED headlamps, modified front and rear bumpers, a new pair of 10-spoke 17-inches alloy wheels and a large panoramic sunroof. The interior, too, is revised with new accents for dashboard and door trims, 3D aluminum inlays on centre console, a newly designed new multi-function steering wheel, instrument cluster with color display, updated MMI system with navigation system, two SD card slots and 20GB hard drive storage capacity.

Set to rival the Mercedes-Benz GLA Class and BMW X1, the 2016 Audi Q3 facelift is expected to be offered within the price range of 28 lakh – Rs. 38 lakh (ex-showroom). If reports are to be believed, Audi, at a later stage, might also add a petrol version to the lineup. The German luxury carmaker could also re-introduce the Q3 S variant with a 6-speed manual transmission and front wheel drive system.
