LONDON: Sky TV is downplaying the impact of its debacle with the heavily promoted worldwide live simulcast of the first episode of the new series of Game of Thrones.
Technical problems meant New Zealand viewers were unable to join in the simulcast, which had been due to screen at 1pm on Monday.
The best Sky could do was get the season five premiere out at 3.35pm, with the second showing of the day to follow at 8.30pm as scheduled.
