Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khosa had imposed ban on the smuggling of cattle to Afghanistan on September 26, 2013 so that prices of live stock may be made stable from marketing point of view and common man may be able to purchase cattle in order to offer his or her sacrifice on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. But here, the situation has diametrically changed and traders are unscrupulously and continuously transferring a large number of cattle to Afghanistan through different channels of Khyber Agency. Such people are absolutely violating rules and regulations of the establishment set by the High Court.

Traders of cattle feel attraction in such illegal ways because in this way they can earn tremendous profit by smuggling of live stocks out of country. That is tantamount to direct challenge to the government writ which is losing with the passage of time.
