BEIJING: Chinese Smartphone maker Oppo has introduced its much awaited U3 Smartphone in China. The Oppo U3, as some might see it, looks at a high-end successor to the company’s previous biggies, the N3 and R5.
The Oppo U3 is now available in China at a price tag around $451. There is however no word yet regarding the device’s global availability and pricing yet.
The Oppo U3 Smartphone features a 5.9-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080×1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 chipset clocked at 1.7GHz alongside 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage.
The dual-SIM Smartphone comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with the company’s ColorOS 2.0.1 on top. It sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery that comes with Oppo’s VOOC fast-charging technology.
