Pak-China economic corridor approved: Govt to initiate talks with China for importing 1000MW electricity

ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet has given approval for the Pak-China economic corridor. It was also decided to initiate talks with Beijing for importing 1000 megawatts of electricity from China by laying a new transmission line.

Also during the meeting, the cabinet took notice of alleged horse-trading taking place prior to the Senate elections of March.
