Pak Rupee gains 10 paisa against US dollar in open market

KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee gained strength by 10 paisa against the US dollar in the open market, and hit Rs154.60 on Tuesday.

On the other hand, the local currency depreciated 10 paisa in the inter-bank market against the US dollar and closed at Rs154.40.

The rupee traded within a very narrow range of 11 paisa per USD showing an intra-day high bid of 154.50 and an intra-day Low offer of 154.39. Within the Open Market, PKR was traded at 154.20/154.80 per USD.

Meanwhile, the currency gained 1.9 rupees against the Pound Sterling as the day s closing quote stood at PKR 200.57 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 202.47 per GBP.
