LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways has issued an amount of Rs 20 million under the head of insurance claims of passengers in order to compensate them.
While travelling by Pakistan Railways, if a person passes away in accident, his family will be compensated with an amount of Rs 800,000, whereas injured persons will be given Rs 300,000.
Employees of the Pakistan Railways serving in trains will also be compensated under this scheme.
Customs Today has already reported about this agreement on November 6, 2014 that the Pakistan Railways will introduce an insurance scheme for passengers and employees soon.
