RAMALLAH: Palestinian customs police on Saturday seized 100 kilograms (220 pounds) of imported fish unfit for human consumption” in the northern West Bank city of Qalqiliya, the department said.
A statement released by customs police said that they stopped a car entering from Israel that contained 100 kilograms of fish in a portable refrigerator.
The driver did not have the required papers to import the fish, and as a result officers from the district committee of public safety were called to the examine the cargo.
