Pervaiz Elahi flays PML-N govt for cancelling his projects

LAHORE: Former Punjab chief minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi has alleged that the PML-N government has scraped several development projects, started by his government, including construction of  Lahore-Sialkot Motorway.

He said this while talking to his party officials including Ch Maqsood Ahmad, Salim Baryaar, Ansar Baryaar, Zulfiqar Ghumman and Khalil Bhatti from Sialkot. He recounted that his government feats in infrastructure betterment and. He said the construction of Lahore-Sialkot motorway was scheduled to be completed five years ago that could save time.

Elahi said the Sharif brothers also deprived the people of Gujranwala Division including Sialkot and Gujrat not only of modern facilities of travelling but also of education and this area had gone back several years.

Elahi said that Sharif brothers were trying to hide the facts by taking the credit for construction of Ring Road in Lahore because Lahore Ring Road project was started by his govt in the Punjab in consultation with US experts and with the help of satellite technology and its design was finalized keeping in view requirements of Lahore for next 30 years whereas Shahbaz Sharif had added nothing to it.
