KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Peshawar recovered 18 kilograms of hashish during a crackdown.
Sources told Customs Today that Customs Peshawar received secret information regarding some smuggling attempts after which they constituted a team. The Customs team intercepted a Suzuki pick-up and recovered 18 kilograms of fine quality hashish and arrested the driver.
During another crackdown, the Customs seized 10 DVD players, 7 LED TVs and other smuggled electronic accessories from a vehicle which was parked just in front of Gulzai Electronics Shop. Customs team arrested an accused who was identified as Safdar Khan and seized the smuggled electronic goods.
