Peshawar Customs recovers narcotics from consignment booked by M/s MTF Traders Hangu

PESHAWAR: The consignment of M/S MTF traders Hangu was detained at Peshawar Airport after recovery of drugs from the goods.

Sources informed Customs Today on Wednesday that an attempt was foiled to smuggle 510 gram hashish to Doha from Peshawar through an export consignment.

According to sources at Bacha Khan International Airport, Cargo Terminal detected 560 grams of charas which was tactfully concealed in trousers/pajamas from a consignment destined for Doha.

The consignment was booked by M/s MTF Traders of District Hangu. The consignment was going to be shipped through Flight No. QR-601 from Peshawar to Doha.

The law enforcement agencies have registered case under CNS Act and further investigation is in process. M/s MTF traders was also booked in another FIR before this seizure.
