SYDNEY: Plex, an app that allows users to stream music, movies and photos across their home network, will be available for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 today.
The release will be limited to North America (US and Canada) and Latin America and on release will only allow video streaming. A update in the future will add other functionality.
The app will only be available to Plex Pass subscribers initially, but a separate version will be available in the future for those who don’t have a Plex Pass. A separate fee will be required to use the app however.
