ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would proceed to Bahrain for an important visit. He would hold important talks with the ruler of Bahrain and the two sides would sign 16 Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) for cooperation in different fields.
He will be accompanied by federal ministers Shahid Khaqan Abbas, Khawaja Mohammad Asif, Special Assistant Tariq Fatmi, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry and other senior government officials.
Emir of Bahrain Hamad ibn Isa Al Khalifa, during his visit to Pakistan in 2014, had invited Prime Minister Sharif to pay an official visit to the Gulf state.
