WARSAW: Poland’s market regulator UKE continues the auction for 800 MHz and 2.6 GHz frequency bundles, with telcos bidding up the price of 800 MHz frequency bundles to PLN 629-636 million, nearly 153% above asking price, data provided by UKE show.
Prices of fourteen auctioned 2.6 GHz bundles stand at PLN 31.7-32.0 mln, UKE data show. The most recent pricing dates back to Thursday, May 21. No data for May 22 have yet been provided by UKE.
Local analysts speaking to PAP Polish news agency on May 20 said the auction may be coming to an end, as prices are slowly approaching levels that telcoes may no longer consider reasonable.
