WARSAW: The Polish economy grew 3 percent in the first quarter, slower than in the previous three months, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday.
As in the final quarter of 2015, economic growth was driven by domestic demand. Between October and December, Polish GDP rose 4.3 percent year on year. Tuesday’s reading for the first three months of this year was the same as a flash estimate issued on May 13.
