KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal. Meanwhile two more ships carrying containers and furnace oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours. Berth occupancy was only 75% at the Port on Friday where eight ships namely, MSC Judith, Nordlc Hongkong, NYK Furaro, Nord Phoenix, Yas, Icarus, Al-Soor-II and SC Taipel are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Canola Seed, Chemicals, Coal, Diesel oil and Edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A Cargo volume of 68448 tones imports and 12432 tones exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1654 containers were handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
