ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has clarified that Point of Sale (POS) system is applicable to all the big retail outlets of big cities including Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.
The FBR in its clarification has stated that POS system is applicable to all the big retail outlets of big cities. These outlets are mostly located in the big shopping malls of Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.
The POS system is applicable to all those retail outlets which have three or more branches. The FBR has taken the traders’ community into confidence on the POS system. The FBR is taking all such steps with the cooperation of traders.
