LAHORE: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has congratulated Punjab Governor Chaudhery Muhammad Sarwar for his key role in winning GSP plus status for Pakistan.
In a letter addressed to the Punjab Governor, the Prime Minister acknowledged, “It is a tremendous victory which has the potential to make a tangible constribution to increase Pakistan’s exports to one of the world’s biggest markets”.
The Prime Minister said this breakthrough had been possbile througn the untiring efforts of the Punjab Governor, complemented by his unique political insights and contacts in the EU system. He extended felicitations to the Punjab Governor on this achievement.
