LAHORE: Regional Tax Office (RTO)-II Chief Commissioner Dr Arshad Khan assured early redressal of pending refunds and sales tax cases to a delegation of importer, exporters and traders, who visited the RTO-II under the leadership of former LCCI president.

The RTO-II chief commissioner said that there is no reason that the refunds are being delayed except the shortage of the document on the part of the taxpayers. He said that the taxpayers can also go to the newly-made Taxpayers Grievances Redressal Committee consisting chief commissioner, LCCI president and Tax Bar association president. The committee would review the case and act accordingly.
