MOSCOW: Russia and Belarus signed contracts worth a record level of about $500 million in the sphere of military and technical cooperation, Russia’s Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov told TASS on Friday. “The past year ended quite positively,” the Russian diplomat said.
“The volume of contracts in the sphere of military and technical cooperation has approached $500 million. This is the highest figure, as far as I remember,” he said. “Enterprises operating in the military and industrial sphere are showing quite close integration,” he said.
