CAPE TOWN: South Africa Customs seized diamonds and drugs at South Africa’s Free State border with Lesotho over the past week in different operations, the SA Customs official said here the other day.
Two men from Lesotho were arrested for illegally crossing the border into South Africa with 329 diamonds worth about R3.2 million, Customs said in a statement.
Meanwhile, two South African citizens were arrested last Sunday after they were found with 800kg of dagga with an estimated street value of R800,000.
