KUALA LUMPUR: Not too long ago, Samsung started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 in Spain, and now it seems the Korean OEM is now rolling out the update for more regions as well.

If you’re based in Malaysia or Russia, and are in possession of a Samsung Galaxy S5, you may want to check your notifications as the company is rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in both regions.

As we know, Android 5.0 Lollipop is probably one of the most significant Android updates which introduces a handful of new features and improvements. It comes with an all-new Material Design, improved notifications which give users the ability to respond to them from their lock screen, ART runtime, several security related enhancements and much more.

The update rolls out in phases so you may want to wait for a few days as it can take some time to reach all devices. Alternatively, if you find it difficult to wait for the update, you can manually check for the update from the Settings
