SCCI, traffic police collaborate on export cargo plates

SIALKOT: Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) Departmental Committee on Dryport/ Airport/ Shipping/ Railway/ Transportation, Chairman Tariq Hussain on Monday held meeting with DSP Headquarters Traffic Police Sialkot Mudassir and Incharge Education Wing, Traffic Police Sialkot/ Focal Person Dr. Shafqat.

The meeting was held to review about facilitate the implementation of Export Cargo Identification Plates for vehicles associated with export activities.

A large number of drivers attended the session, reflecting strong participation and cooperation from the business community.

During the meeting, it was encouraging to note that the drivers expressed overall satisfaction with the professional and supportive conduct of the Traffic Police, Sialkot. No complaints regarding unnecessary stoppage were reported, which was highly appreciated by all stakeholders.

Key points discussed during the meeting included driver documentation, encouragement for registration, vehicle safety compliance and road safety awareness.

The SCCI reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with law enforcement agencies to facilitate exporters and improve transport efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
