Senate panel to be briefed on updates verification of blocked SIMS

ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat on Tuesday will be given a briefing on updated verification of blocked SIMS of all telecommunication networks in the country.

The committee will also be briefed regarding night packages of various telecommunication networks, and use of Afghan SIMS functioning in Pakistan along with technicalities. The meeting to be chaired by Senator Talha Mehmood will also be briefed regarding roaming charges of internet while travelling abroad and mechanism of sales tax on all telecommunication networks.
