NEW YORK: The Seneca County Drug Task Force METRICH Enforcement Unit has seized heroine worth of $30,000 during a drug raid here the other day.
During the search authorities seized a substantial amount of suspected heroin, criminal tools and evidence consistent with Drug Trafficking. A juvenile was taken into custody for the heroin.
Authorities said no one else inside the residence was involved or connected to the heroin discovered inside the residence. Additional charges of Trafficking Heroin, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Criminal Tools are pending against the juvenile.
“This investigation removed a substantial amount of heroin out of this community and it would be safe to say that this community is a little safer this holiday from this terrible drug,” said Tiffin Police Department Chief Fred Stevens.
“This has been an ongoing investigation and has a direct nexus with an earlier investigation involving a suspect, Tyler Bustamante, 33, who is presently in the Seneca County Jail pending other charges. I foresee additional charges being filed on Bustamante upon the conclusion of this investigation as well,” said Unit Coordinator Det. Charles W. Boyer.
