KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers, chemical and furnace oil were berthed at Qasim international Containers Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and FOTCO Terminal on Wednesday.
Meanwhile two more ships carrying containers are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 65% at the port on Thursday where total seven ships namely CGM Puccini, Densa Leopard, MV. Hay, Alam Manis, Norgas Patricia, As Valdivia and MT. Lahore are currently occupying berths to load/offload, containers, cement, rice, chemical, urea and furnace oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 57328 tonnes comprising 44821 tonnes imports and 12507 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1293 containers (TEUs) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
