Sialkot Customs handles exports worth Rs 11b in October

SIALKOT: The Model Customs Collectorate has handled exports worth Rs 11.1 billion during October 2015, showing an increase of 15.6 percent as compared to the exports during the same period of the last fiscal year 2014. The total export during the period in question was Rs 9.6 billion.

Leather and leather items, sports goods, surgical instruments and other items were exported through the Sialkot Customs. Officials said that such growth in export has been observed due to smooth provision of export-related facilities and rapid clearance of export consignments.
