Sindh Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo assured uplifting SITE infrastructure with fast pace

KARACHI: Minister Industries & Commerce Sindh, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, while presiding over an important meeting on the occasion of his visit to Site Association of Industries, said that Sindh government is taking special interest in infrastructure rehabilitation in Sindh industrial zones, as by promoting the industries, vast employment opportunities can be created and the economy will be stable Therefore, real development is not possible without improving the infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by President Site Association of Industry, Abdul Hadi, SVP Riazuddin, VP Qadir Bilwani, Former President Javed Bilwani, Saleem Parikh, Saleem Nagaria, MD Site Limited Munawar Ali Mahesar, Chief Mega Project P&D Najeeb Ahmed, Engr. Site Nabil Ahmed and others were also present.

Minister Industries & Commerce Sindh also inspected the construction work of the site roads and also visited the COVID-19 Vaccination centre, Security System and other sections set up in the Site Association and expressed satisfaction and appreciated the services.

During the meeting, a detailed briefing was given to the provincial minister on the construction work of 17 roads and it was informed that the construction work will be completed soon. On this occasion, the provincial minister issued directives to the contractor to make a break-up with the timeline this week and also assured to solve the water problem.

Abdul Hadi, President, Site Association of Industry, apprised the Provincial Minister about the infrastructure situation in the industrial area and appreciated the steps taken by the Sindh government for the construction and repair of roads.

SAI chief requested that the hours of COVID-19 Vaccination centre be increased from 9 am to 2 pm to 6 pm and depute more staff so that 3 times more workers could be vaccinated. In response, the provincial minister assured to increase the number of hours and staff of the vaccination centre.

While the provincial minister visited the roads of the site and instructed the project director to work with better quality and also assured to convene a meeting with the site association every month and review the infrastructure works of the industrial area, which was appreciated by the participants of the meeting.

Provincial Minister said that the industrial community was grateful to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah for releasing funds for development projects at a cost of Rs 1 billion at the site. The Sindh government is striving for industrial development and hopes that after the completion of development projects, the industrial zones will see significant improvement.
