CAPE TOWN: A joint operation between police and the Department of Labour saw counterfeit goods of more than R120 000 confiscated at the Cape Town station deck.
According to police spokesperson Noloyiso Rwexana, police and the Department of Labour carried out a search and seizure operation as part of the anti-crime initiative Operation Fiela on the station deck between 10am and 3pm on Thursday.
“Counterfeit goods with an estimated value of R128 500.00 were confiscated,” Rwexana said. “Four suspects, aged between 23 and 64, were arrested for possession of drugs. The suspects are expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court once charged.”
