COLOMBO: A Sri Lankan national arrested for allegedly smuggling gold into India at international airport here.
The passenger, who hails from Colombo, was intercepted by customs officials after his arrival from Singapore here on Sunday. He was allegedly found carrying about 2.5 kg of gold concealed in the cavity made in three iron and steel rollers kept in his baggage.
