MUZAFFARGARH: The sugarcane growers in the country can easily get 1500 mound per acre production by adopting the latest techniques.
This was stated by District Officer Agriculture Maher Abid Hussain, while talking to media. He said normally sugarcane growers were getting 607 mound while progressive growers achieving 2,000 mound per acre production. The DO Agriculture (extension) expressed these views while addressing sugarcane growers on Sunday. He said different pests attack could cause immense loss of production of sugarcane crop and added that control on these pests attack necessary to get better production.
