Tata Motors rolls out latest Compact Zest Sedan in Nepal

KATHMANDU:  Tata Motors rolled out its latest compact sedan, the Zest, in Nepal . While the petrol version comes with a starting price of Rs 2.49 million, the diesel variant starts at Rs 3.07 Million.

The company also opened sales and bookings for the vehicles across the country with the sales network of Sipradi Trading, Tata’s Nepal distributor.

The compact sedan will be available in three petrol and while four diesel variants, and comes in six colour options.

Speaking at the launch, Johnny Oommen, head of International Business at Tata Motors , said: “Zest is seeing good demand in India and we hope to reciprocate the same here. Both the petrol and diesel versions come with their unique segment-firsts and we are confident it will delight our consumers with its design, driving pleasure and great connectivity features.”

The car come with 29 segment-first features, he said. Sipradi Chairman Siddharth Rana said the Zest will play crucial role in increase Tata’s market share in Nepal. “With the new product, we are aiming to increase our market share to 15 percent from 11 this year,” he said, adding they aim to sell 300 units of Zest this fiscal year.
