TOKYO: Developer behind Dead Island, Techland has released a new update for Dying Light, introducing a Hard Mode and a range of other free content.

The “Hard Mode Patch” for Dying Light is available now across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. In addition to the new difficulty option, it delivers more outfits, new weapons, and various gameplay tweaks.

In Dying Light’s hard mode, players will face more difficult nighttime scenarios and deadlier, “more vicious” enemies. In addition, players will find fewer resources and supplies to scavenge, while you’ll also need to utilize stealth and silence more than normal.

Techland also released the Ultimate Survivor Bundle DLC for Dying Light. It is part of the game’s DLC pass or can be purchased separately for $5. It includes new weapons–The Constable, the Night Club, Lacerator, and Buzz Killer–as well as new character outfits, including the Ninja, Urban Explorer, and Special Agent.

Dying Light launched in late January 2015, attracting more than 1 million players in its first week.
