Tekken 7 to be released in Japan in 2015

TOKYO: Tekken 7 will release in Japanese arcades starting February 2015.

The arcade version of the game had gone location testing just recently in Japan, which gave us a bunch of information about the upcoming title.

Namco Bandai’s next installment in the long running series will feature some new characters along with series regulars. The current known roster features King, Lars, Law Leo, Bryan, Alisa, Asuka, Dragunov, Feng, Kazuya, Heihachi, Lili, Paul, Steve, Xiaoyu and Hwoarang. Location testing has also revealed Katarina and Claudio as 2 new additions in Tekken 7.

Apart from these new characters, Tekken 7 will feature a couple of new fighting mechanics known as Rage Arts and Power Crush. Rage Arts is only available on low health and it increases the damage of an attack that means your attacks on low health, will have more power.
