SYDNEY: Arguably one of the most anticipated game of 2015, the Witcher 3 release date is a few months away and is poised to hit the stores just in time.

Michal Stec told Enternity’s Pavlos Papapavlou that the game’s visual won’t be downgraded. CD Projekt RED is currently in the phase of optimizing the game. According to Stec:

“No. That’s the answer. We are not downgrading it. We are optimizing the game but in a way that doesn’t affect the visuals. So there is a lot of work for us, and this is also one of the reasons why we delayed the game. Because we still have to optimize it to get the best performance for you guys as possible.”

Confirming that the game’s visual won’t be downgraded in any way, fans can expect the game will be a sight to behold. Also, it is worth noting that the game will have plenty of sex scenes. Senior game designer Damien Monhier justifies why the scenes are important in the game.

“People might think we’re putting sex into the opening scene for no good reason. No, no, no. We are establishing that your character was intimate with this woman recently in order to plant in your mind that, at very least, he must enjoy her company.”

“Through sex we have shown that this is a person who Geralt would be compelled to chase after if she went missing,”

You can check out full details of how much sex will be in the game by clicking here. Whether that is something that would stimulate plenty of interest in the game, some might be wondering how resolute and crystal clear the scenes will be.

According to kdramastars, rumor has it that the game’s PC version will be set at 35-45 fps at 1080p with 8x MSAA enabled. Quoting the website, “gamers might get to play the game in 60 fps+ but the Anti-Aliasing options need to be turned off”.

To add up, another website motoring crunch indicated that the Witcher 3 will run at 720p at 30FPS on the Xbox One and 900p at 30FPS on the PS4. But take this one with a grain of salt as CDProjekt Red has not revealed any official announcement yet regarding the PC requirements.

The game is slated for a May 2015 release date.
