COPENHAGEN: The international transportation network Uber will employee up to 100 engineers for a development project based in Aarhus in the coming weeks.
Uber’s Aarhus department is responsible for developing the company’s infrastructure globally. Lars Dyrhagen, the head of public policy at Uber, explains that the company has placed its research and development centre in Denmark for several reasons – one being the vast number of skilled specialists to choose from.
“We are ready to recruit new talent. If you belong to the world’s elite, or you want to, just send an application to Uber immediately,” Dyrhagen told Business.dk “Uber looks at where there is a presence of IT skills and talent, and right now, it is in Denmark,” he continued.
Further information on the recruitment will be announced in connection with an event that Uber will hold at its R&D centre in Aarhus later today.
