KIEV: Since the beginning of current season until April Ukrainian wheat bran production had increased by 10% to 214.05 KMT against 195.18 KMT during the same period of 2014/15. In line with production wheat bran exports had grown by 7%. During July-April 2015/16 Ukraine exported 523.65 KMT.
Increase of shipments to Arab and African countries is this season`s peculiarity. In 2014/15 Turkey`s share was 88% of total Ukrainian wheat bran exports. But in 2015/16 its share decreased by 10% which is not because of lower exports to this country, but increase in volume exported to other destinations. Ukrainian exporters doubled shipments to Saudi Arabia, and shipped almost 200% more wheat bran to Morocco and Israel this season.
