HIDALGO: US Border Patrol agents from the Rio Grande Valley Sector seized more than 135 pounds of cocaine with an estimated value of more than $4.3 million.
The cocaine was seized when agents assigned to the Weslaco Station pulled over a vehicle west of Jackson Road on Military Highway. Inside the vehicle agents found two duffle bags that contained small bundles of cocaine.
The driver and the narcotics were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration for further investigation.
