Officers at the San Luis pedestrian crossing selected Gerardo Isaac Ruiz-Moreno for a secondary inspection and discovered he had wrapped five packages of marijuana around his midsection and legs. Officers seized the drugs, worth nearly $2,600, and referred Ruiz to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
