ESCOBARES: US border patrol agents from the Rio Grande Valley Sector seized more Ford Explorer full of Marijuana bundles than 630 pounds of marijuana.
Rio Grande City Station Border Patrol Agents were patrolling near Escobares, Texas when they observed a suspicious vehicle. Shortly after, agents located the vehicle abandoned, a 1999 Ford Explorer. A search of the vehicle revealed 28 bricks of narcotics. Agents transported the narcotic to the Rio Grande City Station for processing. The 630 pounds of marijuana is worth an estimated $504,000.
