NEW YORK: Samsung Galaxy A7 smart phone is likely to come soon after the device supposedly earned the nod of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The Galaxy A7 was to be part of a new series of smart phones that included the newly announced A3 and A5, enthusiast site Sam Mobile said.

“It looks like Samsung might announce the Galaxy A7 soon as it has passed through FCC. The FCC has confirmed that the Galaxy A7 (SM-A700FD) features 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and A-GPS,” it said.

Also, it said the FCC certification indicate the A7 may be 150 mm tall and 75 mm wide.

Report also defines other specifications include:

– A 5.2-inch 1080p display

– An octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC with 64-bit CPU cores

– Adreno 405 GPU

– 2GB RAM

– 16GB internal storage

The A7 will also likely have a 12-megapixel primary camera with 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel secondary camera, the site added.

Signal strength

On the other hand, Sam Mobile noted the Galaxy A3 and A5 now face signal strength issues.
