MOSCOW: Vanino Customs will join Khabarovsk Customs under the Order of the Federal Customs Service, on improving the structure of customs authorities in the Far East Federal District.
Customs points Sovetskaya Gavan and Vanino will become subordinate to Khabarovsk Customs without changing their location and area of activity.
The Khabarovsk Customs will thus number 10 customs points. As of today it includes 8 customs points: Khabarovsk, Bikinsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Leninsk, Nikolaevsk, Priamursk, Airport Khabarovsk and De-Castri customs point.
The staff of Khabarovsk Customs will be enlarged with 48 officials. It is not the first reorganization of Far East customs system. Amur Customs consisting of three points (Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Leninsk, Nikolaevsk) joined Khabarovsk Customs on April 3, 2012.
