NEW YORK: There are many applications available for Smartphone and each of these applications has separate features for which they are so popular among the masses. However, it would be pretty amazing if there was an application that could help an individual to do all the things that each of these applications have to offer. This is where WeChat scores over its contemporaries!

This application combines features like VoIP calling functions (like Viber), instant messaging functions (like WhatsApp and Hike), and photo sharing functions (like Instagram). Some supplementary features offered in the application, which are not available in most other applications, are games and scanning of QR codes.

The future of the application WeChat certainly looks promising due to the fact that it is an independent instant messenger application. Messenger apps like WhatsApp, which has been acquired by other bigger firms, will certainly have the impact of the bigger firms on the functionalities of the apps. However, WeChat being independent will certainly retain the original features, thus providing it more originality and popularity among the masses.
