Montreal: National Bank is ranked among Montreal’s Top Employers. The list was created in 2006 to recognize Montreal-based businesses that offer an exceptional work environment.
It is a regional edition of Canada’s Top 100 Employers presented by Toronto publisher Mediacorp Canada Inc. This is the fifth consecutive appearance on the list for National Bank. The Bank’s human resources practices are aligned with the needs of its employees, providing them a work environment that is conducive to excellence.

As per Mediacorp’s survey, the Bank stands out for its advantageous total compensation portfolio, its practices that promote work-life balance and its retirement planning and transition initiatives. With nearly 10,000 employees in the Montreal area, National Bank participates in numerous projects and partnerships that contribute to the city’s vitality. It recently announced a $1 million contribution to Fondation Montréal Inc. and participated in such events as the “I see Mtl” conference and the FinTech forum. Last year, the Bank was awarded the Prix Arts-Affaires de Montréal in the Enterprise category for its contribution to the Montreal arts sector.
