Unity, Faith, Discipline: Celebrating 68th Pakistan day with zeal, Azm-e-Pakistan parade, different shows, performances to organized on the occasion

LAHORE: All types of arraignments are finalized for the Azm-e-Pakistan parade on 68th Pakistan Day to be held after many years in capital metropolis.

The main march-parade of big bikes of city traffic police and police flag march will be marched from liberty roundabout to Main market and parade will march back from main market to liberty roundabout.

According to the details, different shows and performances will be organized on the occasion of march parade of 23rd March in which Rafi Peer Theatre will perform puppet show, over 40 brass and pipe bands will patricide, musician including Ali Azmat, Jawad Ahmed and celebrities of Pakistan will perform and entertain the participants & citizens, police will also hold flag march and equestrian squad will parade, traffic wardens will hold bike squad and big bikes parade on the Main Boulevard, air show will also be presented for the citizens and other activities.

On the occasion the show of vintage cars, heavy bikes and street bikes will also be showcased in front of citizens. The City District Government Lahore (CDGL) has finalized the all arrangements of first ever parade scheduled to be held on the eve of 23rd March also called Pakistan Resolution Day.

Parade would be observed from Liberty round About to Main Market and culminated at the same venue at 2:30 pm. However, CDGL has renamed the name of the event, “23rd March, Purazam Pakistan Parade to 23rd March, Azm-e-Pakistan Parade”. CDGL also planned for showing regional dance of the province, show of dancing horse, jokers and jugglers will be presented for the kids.

To make event memorable fireworks will be also observed midnight of Sunday and Monday around 12pm at Minar-e-Pakistan, for which Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has also finalized all arrangements.

While, City Traffic Police has also finalized the traffic plan to maintain the traffic flow on the occasion of parade. Traffic police has pointed out three points for vehicle parking including, Liberty parking area, Liberty Parking Plaza and Gaddafi Stadium along with services arteries lying nearby.

PHA also plantation grass and tree plantation at liberty roundabout and will hold cleanliness sweeps in the surrounding roads of the event’s venue. Meanwhile, bands also held rehearsal on the roads while big screen also displayed at the venue to attract the visitors and citizens for joining the event on March 23rd.

On the eve of Pakistan day Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have said that stability of national solidarity and safeguarding national security was the most important demand of the time and responsibility of every Pakistani, fulfilment of which we have to heartily practice the sayings of Founder of Pakistan i.e. unity, faith and discipline, in this regard the youth can play important and effective role by become active.
